An Ontario man, Abraham Reyes, has been hiding the world's LARGEST PEARL — and he's revealed it to the world for the first time!

Dubbed the 'Giga Pearl,' it is white and cream-colored and looks like a huge tooth. It's about the size of a baby. The pearl weighs 27.65 kilograms, four times the weight of the Lao-Tzu Pearl, which until recently was thought to be the world's largest. It's estimated value is an astounding $60M to $90M.

Where did the enormous mystery pearl come from? The pearl has been in Reyes' family since 1959. It was given to his aunt by his grandfather who came to visit her in Manila and brought a giant clam as a gift, a custom in Filipino culture. The pearl was inside.

"These giant clams were very common. They were used for baptismal baths. Some of them are even in garden. Some of them had abnormalities that they didn't know were pearls," said Reyes.

The pearl is believed to be more than 1,000 years old

"There's no other recorded example of such a massive giant pearl that's even remotely close to this piece," said art consultant Anthony Wu.

Father names flawless 88-carat diamond after his daughter!

A Japanese private collector purchased the D-flawless 88.22-carat oval diamond at Sotheby's Hong Kong. He gifted it to his eldest daughter and named it "Manami Star" in her honor. The sale of the egg-size stone was much anticipated. The auction house boasted that the diamond was “perfected by every critical criterion”—both externally and internally flawless and with excellent polish and symmetry.

Wow, look at the size of that beauty! 😍 πŸ’― πŸ’Ž

Did it rain on your wedding day? That might be a good thing!

In some cultures, rain on your wedding day is considered good luck, symbolizing fertility and cleansing. Hindu tradition has it that rain signifies a lasting marriage. A knot that becomes wet is extremely hard to untie – therefore, when you “tie the knot” on a rainy day, your marriage is supposedly just as hard to unravel!

Happy Birthday April babies! April's birthstone needs no introduction; the most coveted of all gemstones, diamonds are a symbol of eternal love.

Here's a cool fact about diamonds! How rare and hard to find are diamonds? To get one carat of diamonds, 250 tons of earth must be moved. Only 25% of those will be gem quality. So 1000 tons of earth must be moved to get one carat of gem quality diamonds. Wow!

Gerald, 91, and Gwyneth Wykes, 90, met each other during World War II, still teenagers living in the war-ravaged city of Coventry, England. She turned down his proposal at first. How could she know he would live, she would live, when people all around her were dying? How could anything good grow out of such rubble?

But good did indeed come. They started out as friends and dance partners, living in a country torn by the fear of war; on Tuesday, they celebrate their 70th wedding anniversary with their daughter's family and their grandson.

“All I saw was this massive red hair coming and I said was, ‘Oh, no,’” said Gerald, remembering the first time he saw Wanda. “After dancing, I got home about midnight and woke up my parents. I said, ‘I’ve met a girl.’ They went, ‘Yeah, yeah,’ and went back to sleep.”

Congratulations to this beautiful and enduring couple!
